yest we went candy empire after svc+lunch and xinying bought popping candy for her lil sister. so i figured, might as well buy my brother sth to keep him happy since my clothes' been disappearing again ... zzz. actually i thought he'd thrown them away alr so the candy was more of a make-him-happy-so-it-wont-happen-again-gift. but actually, i think he only hid them! cos after giving him the candy, today my clothes miraculously reappeared on the sofa! HAHAHAH.
sheesh, i feel like i'm one of those shopowners in russia that have to pay the mafia 'protection money' so that the tycoons wont go disrupt their business and property...only this time, my brother is the mafia and the property at stake is my belongings. haha!

'i'm gonna go get God good for this!'there's actually nothing cool about that sentence. it's just the buddy-buddy, heyyo-wassup-God way that he spoke that i think is cool. cos God wants our repect and all (haha i know for a fact that twin feels guilty for eating during QT =P) but He also wants us to love Him as the bestest friend ever =D and i really really like it when i'm discussing spiritual stuff with my friends and nobody adopts a 'fake' spiritual tone, instead, we just laugh and talk and pray like God's a coolio friend sitting right beside us. it's something i love doing with shuling sharon sally =D
there's nothing wrong with having a spiritual tone, but when it starts to get forced, i.e. the person praying starts throwing a lot of 'by your love and grace and mercy and walk in your light...' when its unneeded, for the sake of making the prayer sound 'cool', then....haha. it gets distracting, and it makes the prayer less effective cos everybody stops focusing on the topic at hand. so yups, i need to brush up on praying aloud too! (:

emily and sweeying came my house to play w e makeup shujie gave me hahaha. changed into the halter dress that i've never worn since its date of purchase early this year. sweeying did some makeup thingy on me and her skills are fabulous but...haha. i just felt extremely dumb so i took everything off. we snapped a pic for winnie though (=

went daniel's house to prac w sharon! hahaha i was bullying dan all the way and since he's not used to it, he got thrashed quite badly muahaha. twin didnt put up any resistance either so yea man! anw it was quite cool cos i got to meet snowy the rabbit + whole tank full of coolio fishes + destroy a certain somebody's room by dumping all the soft toys on the floor so... whoo. better than rotting at home yesh.
prac was good too, i think it took us around 4 hrs to master all the steps? i had to ice my ankle afterwards cos it's sore from all the turnboxes, but it was worth it cos we're quite decent now. decent doesnt mean good, btw, it just means not having to hide face. haha! thanks twin for coaching and video-ing.

anw jazz went shopping with me and i finally got my shoes! hahaha i think we walked around for 3 hours? sorry dear. haha i cant rmb the last time i spent so much time wandering around in a shopping mall.

emily's gonna go shopping for heels w me tmr. okay and i did something very very stupid...i told jinyi just now and he totally facepalm-ed. basically for grad, sharon told me that girls have to sidestep when they walk down stairs in heels so that the heels wont get caught on the upper step. it just means that you must place your feet at a forty five degree slant on the steps. but cos i totally misinterpreted her words, i spent grad day walking like a crab up and down the steps. get it? i thought sideways meant putting your feet parallel to the steps! ARGH.

i think there was something very wrong with my behavior yesterday. basically, i acted like a total spoilt brat. when God puts people in my path to guide me, i don't think i'm supposed to go to pieces and 烂掉 just cos i think the situation is under someone else's control for that moment. it's what lisa once said about having to be ready christians whether in or out of season. basically, i have a very big problem of stepping out only when i think there's a need, then end up stoning again when i think there's more qualified people around...cos if my personality is so split, then i have no right to get upset when people judge me differently based on the side of me they see.

service today was super good! i really really liked what pastor preached. on the way to riverwalk last week, i was telling jinyi how i think the nine gifts are something like the nine crests in digimon (okay i think only mingwei can understand this.) i'll explain more next time. i know it sounds farfetched but then again mark's forever going on about how zombies were derived from the skeletal cows from some chapter in the bible or something. ah okay i think my brain just socked out again.
anyway i m super happy cos my econs essay got U for prelims but C for mock! yay! that's a jump of four grades in barely a month! i think i 吓到 lisa cos she was telling me, 'good! so now As can get B?' and i turned around and gave her a look of such deep shock that she quickly amended, 'or A?' haha! yes WE MUST ALL AIM FOR STRAIGHT As. haha i dont care i refuse to discuss anything lesser.
okay. and i feel that i need to clarify one thing. lisa said on friday that we cannot display the ostrich syndrome of running away from our fears eg. studies. i asked myself if i was running away from my fears by not talking about As and my honest answer is no. the one thing i'm very unhappy about is that people in school keep harping on about the stupid bell curve (which alot of ppl say favors hc-ians )and discussing answers and whatnot. and some of them are christians who keep saying God will help them .so look,we said we have faith right? if God has already said we're gonna get As, then we're gonna get A! there's no maybe! let your yes be yes and your no be no! why must we keep discussing whether or not the stupid bell curve will favor us when the bell curve is shifted according to God's will? sharon and i bolt from class after every paper just to avoid it, but sometimes ppl dont take the hint and they come looking for us and keep going on and on about it.okay i dont mind when the non-christians discuss endlessly, but for the christians, i think it's a very big insult to God when we say, 'Father, i lift my paper into your hands' and then spend the next hr discussing if we can make the cut. it's not just about the stress or the faith. it's about respect. if you respect me as a friend, pls stop agitating me about the paper when you know full well i dont want to talk about it, and then tell me i must face up to reality when i keep mum.

hahaha i have the coolest cg brothers ever! yesterday was fun to the max; i dont regret going for service and prayer meeting at all (:
basically jinyi and i treated the riverwalk library like our own room by spreading our notes over the whole place and turning it into a warzone. we got lost on our way out for dinner cos we both thought we were following each other when actually neither of us had directions, and yea everyone knows i cant even find directions in my own school. haha! then when we returned, we realised we were locked out cos the guard went for dinner, so what did we do? wrote sos messages in the condensation on the walls and used it to play tictactoe and pokemon hangman. hahaha!
then on the way home, mark and i were searching for a quiet place to pray and since none looked available, we had the ingenious idea of walking into the middle of an empty field and plonking ourselves down to pray. haha! i think we looked like lost backpackers. but it's actually quite cool cos the sky was super nice with stars and all.we even saw a random bolt of lightning from nowhere. and mark showed me his garden on the way home. cool right? i feel super recharged for As now.
