okay this week's been freaking vulgar i.e. shar and i keep hearing people swearing everywhere! ): emily and i had a heated discussion on whether it's okay to use vulgarities (haha i won! :D but duh cos sharon was backing me up (: ) which is kinda ironic, cos my friends swear more than hers, yet i'm taking the opposition stand. my og guys once told me that they make a conscious effort not to swear in front of girls, but i didnt realise just how prominent that effort was, until chejian accidentally said something really bad to me yesterday! ):< hahaha okay he didnt mean it,it just kinda slipped out--but i still made him go bang his head on the wall (: yes i'm a sadist.
but anyway, next week i'm going to refuse to talk to people who keep swearing. so i've a feeling i'm going to be very, very lonely next week HAHAHA. :D

but it hurts a thousand times more to see your loved ones go down fighting, and not be able to do anything about it.i think back to those happy days, and i wonder how we could have been so blind to this fault. wasn't the pain of seeing one friend go down harsh enough, that we could happily sit and bask in our own joy without attempting to change the system in any way? for years, everyone's said that the process is flawed, that it isn't fair, yet how come no one bothered to do anything about it? were the two of us just so arrogant and delightful in our own success, we failed to realise the implications of letting such a biased system pass judgement on our juniors?
we realised our mistake too late, but we weren't the ones that paid the ultimate price.

right now...i'm too messed up to explain what happened. nat camp's such a far cry from int camp, it just takes my breath away. short story? nat camp wasn't the escape route from school troubles. if all the school stuff hadn't toughed me up beforehand, if not for writing freaking long letters to jiahui everyday and calling out when everything got too much, if not for remembering all the responsibilities we hold as councillors...i wouldn't even have made it back in one piece.
but still. i liked nat camp (:

the program was...horrendous ): for me la. i hate the feeling of not pia-ing 100%...it's like...i'm scared to put in that full bit of effort in case i die halfway and cant finish the prog. but if i dont, there's that sense of discontent after i finish. ): i cant wait to self-train with my friends during promos, then maybe i'll buck up a bit. pullups was great though, i can feel the strength coming back into my right arm! hahaha that really cheered me up alot :D team was being wonderfully spastic today, hahaha gao, puiian and jingyi are super hilarious! XD we trained for half an hr (okay, one hr if you include pullups) and then team-talked for another one hour? SHUAIGE GET WELL SOON WE MISS YOU! <3

what can i say? i love doing k1 but i was kinda hoping hx would put me in a k2 today so i could concentrate on strokes without worrying about stability, seeing as it's the last training and all. i cant believe my prayer was granted, and i could actually be backman! (((((: paddling with shar is seriously love, the stability's outta this world and when we max out our strength the boat goes :DDDDD i love the freedom of being in a k2, it's like the speed shoots up and yet you're stable enough to look around and have fun. today's been my best training for a long long while.
life's picked up for me...but i'm still kind of worried for many of my friends. there's so much worries going around in their minds, it hurts so bad just to see their pain. and it stings even more to see them put on a brave facade in front of others only to crumble behind walls. cheer up okay?
