okay to keep things short.
banana boats are actually called DAQ boats! (: our instructor's called JC and he's really nice. first day was spent mainly on technical stuff like j-draw and classical-draw. and i've finally learnt to cap without panicking :D haha jc told us he's not athletic! get this straight, he:
-runs 2.4 km in 12 min with full combat gear on
-has kayaked for many years, on sea expeditions no less
-is gonna get licensed for driving motor boats
-is going parachuting!
but no, he's NOT athletic at all. (:
we traded canoeing/kayaking stories over lunch. ugh apparently there's crocodiles at seletar reservoir and freshwater stingrays at upper pierce D: thats makes monkeys and monitor lizards sound like child's play ):
second day!
we practised (even more) capping and RESCUING! did mine with juan and twin, haha juan was having a mega fun time sloth-gripping my boat! freaking cute. oh and i think i prefer rescuing in Ts/Ks a whole lot more, the banana daq boat way is so much tougher ): we played lotsa games!
1) CANOE POLO. violent sia! haha we were being really spastically mean to xiaonanren. she capsized alr and we still threw the ball at her! teammates = JC + gao + pucca !
2) everyone capsize! yeelin got hypothermia, sharon and jiahui got one-arm-handicap (i think) and i got both-arms-handicap. how cool is that :D 3) the acid-water-scramble-over-raft-thingy! hoho we stood up and did a team photo! everyone was practically doing splits in the boats >.< PAINFUL
4) surfboard thingy. sharon's invention. cap the boat, fill it half full with water, climb on the end and surf! (:
5) capping other ppl! teehee i feel quite bad cos i cheated my teammates X: hahaha call for help then climb on their boats and cap them when they're near. jiahui+yeelin+sharonnn.
6) hitchhike! climb on the back of others' boats and paddle around. okay sharon tipped me off on purpose. so we're fair and square now.

okay first post of many that're long overdue.
last pe of term= FRISBEE! <3
half the class ponned so there were only 6 players ): shufan divided us into two groups by counting off, haha the lineup's AMAZING. look at the odds of my team losing:
my team: shufan (defender), quinn (catcher? no idea what it's called haha), sandra and seowyee (midfielders), me and shuren (attackers).

james, timo, sharon, shufan, zhengxian, raphael, zhengshan!
okayy the first few minutes was spent with half my team nagging shufan over why the other team got all the tall guys + oac ppl. lol BUT the amazing thing was that we only lost by one point! (: quinn was being really optimistic!

-long pause while quinn took some time to finally figure out that there're 2 other canoeists on the other team hahaha-

it feels weird to be home so early.
a certain person ruined my class's mood for the day? to the extent that even zhengshan, sharon and quinn got severely pissed off. my lab partner actually went, 'WTH', which is something i've never ever heard him say /: haha QUINN how can you educate me about being ladylike and all! though in this case, i'd say you deserve to have said what you did.
yesterday. coached by beni and debbie! (: rescued by nj friends (and made jasmine cap for the first time on T1. i'm so sorry ): ), got capped by an nj guy with an uncanny resemblance to sk, almost fell into an ac guy's boat, made a fool of myself in front of james.
well you cant say it wasnt an exciting day (:
vanessa's had a stroke.this. isnt. fair.
i wonder. is it really bad of me, to feel that overwhelming sense of relief when i realised this vanessa isnt the vanessa hui i know from guides? getting sel's msn was like a blow in the guts when i thought, omg, please dont tell me one of my best sngg mates is lying in hospital right now. and when i found out it's actually another vanessa...i just felt relief mingled with guilt. isnt this practically wishing that plight would befall someone else just to spare my friend? i dont know...
why's it so hard for us to appreciate the people we love, till we finally come into danger of losing them? it seems wrong, somehow, that people bicker over the smallest things, hold on to so many grudges, and then regret it when everything's too late. a small misunderstanding that led to months of silent conflict.
i'm too tired to say anymore...just please please please pray for vanessa. pretty please.

did i mention how much i hate it when teachers ask me if i studied? it's really annoying when i skim together all the time i have to mug, only to have them giving me this cynical look when i say, yes, i did. i know this sounds biased, but i like mr cheong and mr tan cos they're so much more...understanding, i guess. it's the way they ask after my general well-being (and not just my results) and try to give me leeway when i really cant cope that touches my heart. a lot (: and maybe that's why i always put in more effort for econs and gp tutorials (:
on a lighter note, raphael gave me two twisted metal bars today! wayyy cool. hung around ct bech for a while watching eric and tragic trying to untwist them, its so spastic the way they resort to all means (including kicking and stepping on the bars) to try and untwist them but screw them up more :D
okay i gotta go do a hols study plan now. which is apparently supposed to be submitted to the Board of Directors. rahh.

on a lighter note, twin and i finally went to cut hair after csm! hahaha i look really spastic now cos my
squirrel ponytail now looks more like a mouse tail. everytime the auntie asked, 'do you wanna cut this?', i'd go, 'okay', and sharon would go, 'nooooo', so her hair doesnt look cut at all, whereas 3/4 of mine's been snipped off. i'm not exaggerating! see for yourself tmr. but i like it much better this way (:
oh and we didnt get the bag, so there goes our sg look. but i'll bring my white adidas one tmr.
