yay end of an exhausting week. this wk made me realise that for ~6 yrs, i didnt know that i was perpetually tired. i rmb twin constantly telling me tht i wasn't getting enough sleep but it was such a daily thing for me alr that i didn't know what she was talking about. after As, i finally got enough shuteye but i still couldnt tell the diff. it was only after this week brought back the schoollife-tiredness syndrome that made me see the diff btw feeling tired and feeling awake haha!

headache again today cos i don't drink enough water. no sharon around to nag and force me to drink water every half an hour, rawrs /: i think this wk is a very good reminder that i have to take care of myself during sot. no falling sick!

today i went to help victor substitute john for tuition! hahaha super interesting experience man. walking in with absolutely no idea what topics the students would pop and having to think super fast on the spot... kinda nerve-wrecking at first.

so in total, i gave tuition from 930am-3pm to six students then went down to buona vista to give rachel hers as well. victor wants me to work for him full time :D haha i dont really mind but i'm praying hard that my other tuition job can get sorted out fast first so i can confirm my building fund pledge. technically i've gotten the job alr, but i'll feel more secure when everything's settled and i've gone for my first lesson (:

yay i'm so glad i went prayer meeting today! :D

haha this morning emily msged to say she wasn't going cos of work stuff. so my first thought was, die, i dunno how to go! hahaha. her dad usually fetches us. so tempting to go back to sleep. but jinyi texted to say he was going so yep, got directions from him and went down. i didnt get lost! YAY.

met up with john afterwards and they took me to tour ntu haha. crashed their hostels--john's is next to jinyi's--then went to the canteen to eat breakfast. john's gonna be my sot classmate! :D nice. awesome time of fellowship, then john went back to his hostel.

and now i'm killing time in the ntu library before going off for work later! HAHA. shiok life (:

went out with twin in the afternoon. hahaha she was giving me all the updates about her BCC friends and i totally LOL-ed. still the same old crazy bunch that i know...i know i've already said this umpteen times, but i still think it's very cool that she knows about all my closest friends and i know hers too (:

WAHAHAHAH. im gloating to the max now lol. actually...it's v dumb of me to chiong cos victor pays me by the hour. but there's this v cool sense of satisfaction when i know i'm putting in quality work, like when i complete block A in 35 min, then block B try 30 min, block C try 25 min :D and the bonus is that i get to exercise whoo.

okay my junior just came to bug me to return for training. hmm very tempting! i want to go back to the era where we could eat anything we want knowing it'd just burn straight off by the next day's training :D

i was just wondering yesterday why it's taking so long for the monsoon season to come, and a storm finally came this aftnoon! (: heh i couldnt resist walking in the rain. there was an umbrella in my bag, but my arms were full of stuff...and for once my windbreaker was with me after so long (: lol it was just too tempting. drenched but super worth it.

hahaha i just had the most awesome cny reunion ever!! i felt kinda sad cos ansel wasn't there ( dude! couldnt you have come over by yourself ): ) but samuel was so much of a handful, the atmosphere still rocked. so basically, samuel dug out these 3 bottles of whisky that joanne gave him and offered to give me 2 bucks if i drank an entire bottle. hahaha er i'm not that daring...i know the bottle (50ml) was hardly more than one shot but still. SCARY. lol. i drank half (:

then...had our own vday celebration with jiayi and my brother hahaha! lame to the max. we were checking out spastic websites like Wikihow: How To Tell If A Girl/Guy Likes You, spamming songs on youtube and taking turns to talk crap with our friends on msn (: the two of them are like rating all my friends for hotness/cuteness/chio-ness hahaha WHAT THE HECK. and we played my favorite JENGA! samuel really gave me 2 bucks for taking out this very tricky piece. i feel like i just cheated a lil kid lol.

argh...the stupid atm machine ate my card...!! i was so pissed off...okay actually i think i was the one that destroyed the machine. cos i wasn't paying attention so i tried to feed it my ezlink instead of my atm card. obviously it couldnt go in, so i noticed and quickly slotted in my atm card instead. then the machine didnt wanna give it back to me...! sianz. i just stun and stone there sia...but the people behind me were ok ): and it made me later than expected for service which is !@#$% ... i hate rushing for service! zzz.

the praise and worship today was cool! haha. i was super impressed with the way the team held up under pressure. to be able to take discipleship by your most respected senior pastor -- on stage in front of the entire church-- and still keep your emotions in check, and roar back instanteneously with a new and improved version....wow. i was very very impressed (:

lijie and chejian are freaking out cos they prank-called and prank-msned me from some guy chillout mahjong thingy which resulted in me cutting their line and blocking them. i'm not angry actually...i just think its a waste of time for me to entertain them. but nvm...i think they deserve some punishment so i'll let them worry till tmr before i tell them i'm cool. lalala (:

okay. fighting to get into SOT is gonna be the hardest thing i've ever tried so far. i told cal that it'd be easier if i could get my mom on my side -- even if it's just a perfunctory agreement -- before she takes side with my dad. cos although my dad and my bro are really nice to me now, it's mainly my dad who is super against Christianity. and since tmr is my deadline but i'm probably going out tomorrow night, i really really need to get approval by tonight.

i talked to my mom just now and she was in a super good mood till i asked her if i could go haha. basically, she isn't happy with the idea and she wants me to bring it up with my dad tonight. the thing is, it'd be much harder for me to face them two-on-one. (eh but i have God on my side lor. so actually the odds are favoring ME! (: ) the good thing is, if i do manage to get them to agree, it's likely to be a much more formal agreement than if i'd just gotten a cursory i'm-not-very-happy-but-okay-go-la from them. which also means that if things get rough, i'll be able to remind them that they can't go back on their word cos they've already formally given their consent.

anyway, i'm pretty sure that if i can get both parents to be open to my approaches, i'll be able to win them over. the difficult part would be in getting them to be open without dismissing me straight off. i'll only be home around ten pm after CIC, and i've no idea how tired or sleepy they'd be by then. so guys pls pray for me k? i just need them to have an open mind and have a serious discussion with me...i really really want to go! ahhh. Lord, please help me!

argh argh argh. i missed my big chance to go tekong ):

yea this morning. woke up at the crack of dawn to go send zach off. after meeting ziang at pasir ris, we mesaged zach to see where he was and here's what happened:

*ring ring*

me: hello? zach?

zach: you two really came down???

me: yea why? where're you?

zach: i'm on the boat already!!!!!!!!!!

madness. lol. ziang and i stun on the spot hahahaha. we flew down to pasir ris fr woodlands/ bukit gombak and.....LOL. it wasn't that bad actually cos we still had timothy to send off haha. and we bluffed him that the boat left without him (zach and tim are supposed to go in at the same time.) he got so scared that he called zach and went, 'send the boat back! tell them to send the boat back!!' stuffed all of zach's presents into tim's bag so he can pass over lol. then as we were walking, we saw this guy handing out pocket-version Psalms and Proverbs so we stuffed a bunch into tim's bag as well. to which he responded, 'omg...i alr have like 5 Bibles w me and you two still...?!' HAHAHA.

then anw, tim was about to leave when i grumbled, 'i wish i could send you guys to tekong ): ' and it turned out timothy actually had this whole bunch of extra tickets to bring us over! wahh it was so tempting man...timothy's sis said i prob wouldn't be allowed in cos i was wearing shorts but ziang volunteered to swap clothes with me/ borrow jeans fr timothy. argh i really really really wanted to go! imagine my friends' faces if i suddenly pop up at tekong and BOO them. but stupid la, ziang wanted to go church and i didn't want to go alone...so i blew my chance ): argh. i'm so disappointed ):

oh well. daniel's enlisting in april so its not too late. they get 5 tickets each so imagine if we have a prayer group outing to tekong to send daniel off! HAHAHAHAHAH. and timothy offered to give me his frontline youth shirt so today wasn't that saddening after all (:

oh man. why do i always screw up.

today we went to watch hachiko haha. and i think the people who teared are very brave compared to the rest of us who protect ourselves by shutting down emotionally. twin left early for tuition and daniel brought me zach and ziang to yishun pond to talk (=

i really like spending time in God's presence when i'm outdoors. especially by the water. the sunlight and wind is just so...refreshing (= and comforting. we didn't really discuss much this time round...just talked abt ns and such. prayed for zach and all. haha eh and we were scandalising sharon with ___ ? i think we are too boliao, seriously. LOL!

must find more worthwhile stuff to do (=

hai...i think i'm gonna miss my primary school friends alot during their ns...zach ben yiren fengchi chejian. this is the bunch of ppl who tease me endlessly, crack my head against the windows (PAIN!) on bus journeys and are forever bullying me haha. but they're also the ones who help me train for pullups, let me practise muay thai and akkido on them without ever hitting me back and slow down discreetly when i can't catch up during jogging. not to mention letting me shoot hoops when i'm obviously no match for them, helping me look up maps and whatnot so i don't get lost and a million other things.

TODAY WAS EPIC. hahaha omg it was totally the coolest day ever at bvh...okay i'm not gonna say what i did cos i think i'll get tsk-ed at, but suffice to say that lynn and i turned the entire hospital upside down HAHAHAH. the staff was just....blown away lol. it was like a massive revolution? and the scary doc didn't just smile at me, he laughed his head off and tried to strangle me with the cloth i was holding =D he was still chuckling when he left...and we won the grim receptionist uncle over to our side too! dr ong should srsly give us a medal for boosting staff morale =D most fun day ever, i love rampaging around with ralphael and lynn.
