haha today...i got this really long (but shallow!) cut on my knee while doing pushups at PUB. before gym,the juniors challenged me to this game of hug-the-pillar and i scraped my arms/ knees quite badly. then at gym i dropped off the bar and my ankle...hoho. but NOTHING beats last friday night: i dodged the television + radio + wooden chair (it only has 3 legs now) + a mass of pillows and random DFOs (Dangerous Flying Objects) before making it out the door, haha no wonder i always rule at Dodgeball! :D heh and while scarpering i was still thinking, 'should i take pio along?!' man my priorities seem kinda screwed don't they?

today...grr this morning i left my hse 1hr15min earlier so i'd be on time but guess what...i got off at the wrong bus stop! it took me ages to realise i was at the wrong stop so by the time i caught another bus to the correct stop and switched bus to mac..RAWR. so angry. and on the way home...the same thing happened again! my sense of direction is totally nonexistent.

haha paddling today was cool, first time going down without flooding the raptor beforehand. my left contact lens fell out as i was doing 80% raceset! hahaha i paddled with my head unnaturally still praying that it wouldn't drop off my cheek... in the end i managed to finish my set then put it back (: then during the next set, the raptor chucked me out halfway; but because i'd been paddling fast, HAHA the boat continued on without me! -.- fiona had to go chase it and hold it down before i clumsily swam back! spastic.

then when i was docking at the pontoon, the nose of my boat was gonna hit the side, so guess what? i very smartly stuck out my right hand (the injured one) to stop the momentum. so instead of the raptor bashing its nose, my fingers slammed into the pontoon at full force. mm, such sacrifice...i've this bad feeling that 2 injured fingers just became 4.

okays 2 more weeks. when the raptor's doing good its quite okay, but when it's bad..whoa, SCARY. rebellious to the max i need to tame it asap! :D hoho and yes, i need to keep outta trouble for TWO WEEKS...good luck to me.

anw, i was thinking thts kinda weird cos he looks like mr chan's age. if he's fr 07-08, shouldnt he be in army now? his head wasnt shaved.

guy: what's yr name
me: uh....adelyn
guy: hi i'm william! so nice to meet you, thought i wouldnt see you again

okay then i felt really freaked out cos i've never seen him before. i thought, hmm maybe i misheard, maybe he said he thought he wouldnt see another hwach student again. right, so i decided to test him...cos i really dont think he's fr hwach.

guy: -thinks for really long- uhh....S7

me: so...you were from what cca?
guy: -thinks very long again- track...then shifted to soccer.

uh. so i continued.

guy: -nods vigorously-

guy: i can't rmb.

at this point it's quite obvious he's lying, right? and he said the girls' soccer coach is a lady, when vic says its a guy.

me: what fac are you from?
guy: -thinks very long- arts fac?
me: oh, arts fac. which one?
guy: arts fac.
me: arts fac. (decides to pull a bluff) so that means you're...what, athena?
guy: -nods vigorously- yea! athena!

isnt ARES supposed to be the only arts fac. and get this straight: he said he's from S7. how's that supposed to be arts? and isnt athena all S6?

so here's the really scary part:

guy: so are you still in canoe?
me: ?! i'm not in canoe! what makes you think i'm in canoe!
guy: well i've seen you around in, you know, that jersey

at this point i freaked out completely, reached my stop and ran off D: oh man i hope we never meet again!

yknow i once said, 'going fast aint that impt to me anymore, i just wish my hand would heal and i could paddle a race without without pain.'

gino worked his magic, my hand healed, no more pain.

forgetting the memory of how horrendous it was, i pondered, 'hmm my speed's really slow now, maybe i dont mind pia-ing abit harder even if my hand gets injured again...surely i can cope with a lil pain.'

great; now it's back.

rahhh i know i should probably follow instructions and wear my glove perma...but it's so AA! and i dont fancy having to explain to my teachers all over again ): few more weeks, hang in thereeee.

ohmygosh look at this

due to a transposon inserting itself in the exons coding for fur colour as well as pointy ears and a lightning bolt tail, the mutated genes were transcribed into a different gene product (ie polypeptide) causing the hamster to become a pikachu.

haha sharon blew my cover cos she realised there's this guy i always say 'byebye' to and then wait for his response! before you imply the wrong things, it's just that i usually say 'bye' to people, but one day i randomly said 'byebye' to him him and he replied 'byeebyeeee' back, which somehow had me in stitches. we aren't very close so i was trying not to laugh, but...haha, it's just the way he(who's the tall and sportsguy kind) says 'byebye' in the little kid voice that gives me a kick. kingkong in a tweeybird voice. okay okay, cheap thrill. something about blocks must be killing my brain (=

BLOCKS! starts tmr!

umm i really wanna do well this time i.e. C and above for everything (except econs; i'll be over the moon with a D) i dont wanna let my teachers down anymore ):

i think my teachers have given me a lot of leeway this year. mr tan lets me get by with scantily done econs, mrs tano..doesnt approve of my chem but hey she's sure got a right to do so, mdm yeo let me off maths rememdial on blind faith, mr nah...is forever going out on a limb to trust me ): and gp, heh, i used to submit 6 pages now i'm barely churning out 3?

i keep telling them, after nats alright, let me off the extra work and stuff for now...but man i know just how much it costs them to take my word for it.

paddling today was gorgeous, the weather was like :D ! haha i wasnt expecting the rain to stop so i ate 3/4 tub of ben and jerry's before training, smart right! it was liquidified cos we kept it in the yongtaufoo fridge from fri, ugh i dont like icecream anymore! oh yes and debbie keeps scolding me like a little kid cos i was jumping up and down to catch the fruits on the tree outside the k2 shed (: in the end we both stepped on one YUCKS.

today...i read my friend's inbox and callapsed in a giggly heap (so unlike me -.-) hahaha so sweeeettt, i'd melt if anyone said that to me :D none of my friends even care luh, i think they'd be even happier if i drowned in the rain ):

HAHAHA today i capped at the pontoon (manz yesterday at poolside, me to beni: 'dont worry, raptor very stable one!') and the J1 guys dragged me out! haha unglam to the max...3 of them emptied my boat and yucheng was nice enough to help me get back in and pass me my paddle (:

haha rj t2 jnrs capped and they were trying to climb back in by themselves...ahem what is it with guys and their egos, they kept laughing their heads off telling me 'its okay its okay!' -.- haha anw in the end their snr came and he asked me 'are you fengchi's friend?' =D heh i replied 'dude i was gonna ask you that!' haha we exchanged niceties etc then paddled off.

ahem. today i realised that the cycling machine is like the best gym invention ever...because i can actually fall asleep while using it. ownage. haha and the guys are uber smart, guess what they did? they rearranged the 4 ergometers to form a k4! haha imba!

pullup bars, first thing in the morning and jiahui gave me the amazing news of how, apparently, we're 'weird people who spend all our time in the gym', with 'muscles like tumours'. and wow, the leads behind it are my very own og mate and the lil girl who wanted to join our team but put theatre lessons first. well now we know why, thanks alot. what a coincidence that all the canoeing girls present were in the very first row.

anddd, chem today! best lesson haha! mrs tano wasnt here so ms chua took over, and after the lesson...

eh it seriously sucks to be home alone when you're sick ):

i dunno what's wrong with me! all i rmb was feeling horrible after gym and by the time yixian and i reached woodlands i was dead. wore my mammoth hoodie + track pants + blanket + closed all windows to sleep but i still shivered the whole night ): and today was best i'm dizzy and nauseaus all over with stomachache headache fever. blocks is looming up and i havn't even opened my books D:

my bro was nice, he bought me dinner (:
