TODAY'S PADDLING ROCKED! :D

k2-ing with sharon and we breezed out 10 km! our boat felt super stable and i didn't need to slap water at all yay! k2-ing with shar's the best thing on earth. there's really no pressure (which might sound bad, but for me it's good cos i buckle completely when people overwhelm me during training), plus our strokes are rather co-ordinated and we have telepathy (: there was this annoying guy paddling beside us today and i didn't like his face (oops) so i dug in my blade and uppped strength + frequency. so my darling frontman went, 'ahah don't think i don't know what you're trying to do', and she turned on her power as well so whoosh we flew past that guy! haha that's an exaggeration but still, i love it when we manage a good glide.

oh. and i like it that we don't get tensed up and stressed around each other. like yea i know training's supposed to be serious stuff but it sucks when all the fun's drained away. but for us, we work on getting our moves right first, and once the boat's gliding smoothly we start talking about all the stuff that makes us happy and motivated and the more we laugh the faster our boat zooms :D okay to put it simply, i like it that shar understands i'm not slacking off just cos i'm talking and having a good time. because i really hate it when people assume i'm laxxing off or not paying attention just cos i don't act like some grim old fuddy duddy who's all tensed up and oh-so-serious!

blistered fingers and muscle ache makes me feel like i'm doing my training properly HEH.
